The fridge needed resetting and wasn't operational for two days—turns out it was a simple matter, but how were we to know? Bathroom tiles were lifting, adding to the overall impression of neglect. Additionally, water noise from the plumbing was unusually loud, which was distracting, especially for light sleepers like myself. Overall, the ambiance was damp, which wasn't exactly comforting and put a damper on our stay.
